RESTRICTION
NIGHT PILOTAGE RESTRICTIONS AS FOLLOWS.
The maximum permissible draft will be 11.5 m
pilotage is restricted to vessels with length 225.5 M.
Ships and tankers having maneuverable speed of less than 9 knots through water will not be moved in and out of Kandla during the dark.
LPG and Ammonia vessels are handled during daylight hours only.
Berthing and unberthing vessels to buoy moorings will be restricted to day light hours only.

Tropical and dry climatic conditions.Scanty railfall thereby enabling round the year operations.

The maximum permissible LOA for the port is 240 Mtrs.
Vessels upto LOA 255 M may be brought in under specific conditions.
Berthing of vessels beyond 225.5 M in length to be done between panels 51 to 84 only (Berth No.7 to 10)
