PORT REGULATIONS
1. IG approved P & I Certificate is valid alongwith wreck removal clause for entering into port.

2. Vessel should have 2 Anchors i.e. port side and starboard side and also should have magnetic compass and gyro compass for smooth navigation.

3. As per Vizag port regulations vessels should maintain minimum ballast drafts to avoid delay in berthing / shifting or sailing.

4. OR-1 & OR-2 berths - tankers can
berth subject to maximum 195 mtrs
at one of the two berths (subject
to combined LOA of 366 mtrs).

5. EQ-10 berth - official restrictions
not yet delcared by port authorities.
Smaller tankers are berthing on trail basis.

6. (i). Any foreign tanker which is
more than 25 years old is not
accepted. However, latest DG
shipping guidelines on the subject
will be adhered to.

(ii). Foreign tanker, which is between
20 to 25 years old, should have valid
CAP-II Certificate.

(iii). Reduced GRT should be reflected
in international tonnage certificate
with specific remarks.
