The weather is generally hot and humid except from mid December to mid February when it is pleasant.
The rains (N E monsoons ) are experienced from October to mid December. Some rain is experienced during the Indian SW monsoons ( July - September )
From May to November depressions are known to develop in the Bay of Bengal which brings rains and stormy weather .

PORT LAYOUT
PORT REGULATION
Every vessel must have statutory registration with Customs prior to or on arrival. Vessels leaving port have to seek Port Clearance from Customs. Master has to declare all the Store List (Deck, Engine, Provision and Bonded), Currency Declaration. Bond Stores sealed by the Customs till the vessel sail out from the Port.
Immigration Officer will board the vessel and issue the Shore Passes for Crew.
Vessels should have all the relevant and valid Certificates on board including Cargo and Loose Gear Certificates.
